Santa Clarita man arrested for alleged Criminal Threats against school children

Recently it has come to our attention that a local here in Santa Clarita has been arrested for allegedly posting criminal threats against children on an ESPN internet web site. Once discovered by the provider of the internet services ESPN was very quick in reporting the alleged threats to the proper authorities here in Santa Clarita. The suspect Eric Yee 21, was arrested Monday September 17, 2012 at approximately 5:00pm and booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff station.

The Suspects original bail was $50,000.00 dollars but due to safety concerns was raised to $1,000.000.00 dollars by sheriffs personnel. Suspect Lee will be in court the morning of Wednesday September 19th, in San Fernando Superior Court.

Santa Clarita Sheriffs detectives are continuing their investigation into the allegations and that this time they do not believe that any other suspects are involved. As a safety precauiton Depuites are increasing patrols around local schools and all classes are in session.

Palmdale Sheriff Detectives investigating possible kidnapping, From Bail Bondsman in Palmdale

Here at All American Bail Bonds in Palmdale recently received notification that the Palmdale sheriff station is investigating a possible kidnapping which allegedly occurred on Tuesday September 11, 2012 @ approximately 8am. The possible kidnapping victim is believed to be a male Hispanic approximately 10-13 years of age wearing black shirt and a black backpack.

The witnesses, which have come out so far, described the suspects as 2 Hispanic males in their mid-30's. The suspects are alleged to have grab the victim off of the sidewalk along Avenue S in the city of Palmdale.

It is believed that based on the information provided the suspects were driving a tan compact pickup truck with two rear cargo doors, a rear sliding window, and tinted windows. Both the identity the alleged victim and suspects is not known.

Los Angeles County Sheriffs Deputy's and Detectives have canvased the area looking for more information and have also checked with local schools and no children have gone missing.

2 Suspects in Palmdale pursued by Sheriff Deputies, from Bail Bondsman in Palmdale

As a Bail Bonding company in Palmdale, we make it our responsibility to stay on top of things that may happen in the city. The following information was provided to our bail agency by the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department. 

Palmdale Deputies pursued two suspects throughout the eastern end of the city before they gave up near a gas station at 30th Street East and Palmdale Blvd. 

The incident began when Palmdale Sheriff’s Station received a call form a concerned citizen indicating there was a suspicious grey GMC truck in the “Desert Winds Community Church” parking lot, located at 38117 13th Street East in the City of Palmdale. 
As deputies approached the vehicle they observed 51 year old James Balladarez seated in the driver seat of the vehicle and 27 year old Katherine Howard seated in the rear extended portion of the truck. As deputies began identifying why Balladarez was in the closed church’s parking lot, he became agitated and started digging for an item in the center console of the vehicle. Balladarez slid his hand inside of a cloth bag, retrieved from the center console, and placed it to his head indicating he had a firearm in the bag and was threatening to harm himself. 
Deputies immediately began ordering Balladarez and Howard out of the vehicle and to drop the firearm while assisting units responded to their location. Upon the arrival of assisting units Balladarez still refused to exit the vehicle and appeared upset and irrational in his behavior. Howard, who was still in the back of the car, appeared to be conversing with Balladarez, and deputies believed was asking him to release her from the vehicle. 
Deputies continued to attempt to coax Balladarez, when he abruptly drove out of the parking lot, with Howard in the vehicle, and led Palmdale personnel on a slow speed pursuit through the eastern Palmdale area. During the 15 minute pursuit Balladarez stopped approximately four times and appeared to be surrendering to authorities, however again drove off each time. 
Finally Balladarez drove the truck into the parking lot of a Chevron gas station near the corner of 30th Street East and Palmdale Blvd and stopped adjacent to one of the refueling pumps. Station personnel used less than lethal weapons to break the rear window of the truck, and deployed a CS Gas canister into the interior of the vehicle. Balladarez exited the truck and surrendered without further incident. 
Balladarez was transported and booked at the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station on charges of Evading a Peace Officer, Possession of Illegal Weapons, Ex-Felon in Possession of Ammunition, and an outstanding forgery warrant. Through follow up investigation Deputies determined that Howard was working with Balladarez to elude officers and she was subsequently charged with resisting a police officer and two outstanding warrants for theft and driving under the influence. Deputies were not able to locate a firearm inside of the truck and believe he simulated the firearm using a pair of vise grips inside of the bag.

3 GANG MEMBERS CHARGED WITH SANTA CLARITA / CANYON COUNTRY BANK ROBBERY

On Wednesday September 12 2012, the quiet city of Santa Clarita, Canyon Country, was the starting point of what some call a Robbin Hood story. A local Bank of America on the 19000 block of Soledad Canyon was robbed by 4 men. Shortly after the robbery, a vehicle pursuit began. It is alleged by the Los Angeles County Sheriffs office that at least 3 of the 4 supects are reputed Rollin' 40s Crips gang members. There are currently 3 suspects in custody with the 4th still at large.

The 3 suspects in custody are the following: Phillip Ely 29, Lavelle Mosley 22, and Terion Lamarr Collins 25. To the left are the Los Angeles County booking sheets. The long chase came to an abrupt stop after the 4 men were trapped by traffic in the the city of Los Angeles. Before the men could be arrested they threw out large amounts of money, the exact dollar amount is unknown. The suspects could be seen driving through residential neighborhood throwing out the money as locals looked on; of course it didn't take long until swarms of people rushed the tossed money.

As of the writing of this story only $1500.00 dollars has been recovered by local lawenforcement, the exact dollar amount taken in the robbery has not been released by authorities.

Many people in the community look at the act of throwing out the money as an act of charity, of the poor and disfranchised taking from the Haves to give to The Have Nots. We here at All American Bail Bonds in Santa Clarita just see a bunch of criminals trying desperately to escape an inescapable situation. On a personal note, I am very amused at the authorities optimism on retrieving any more of the stolen loot, and quite frankly just consider it to be another Obama stimulus package of taking from the rich and giving to the poor.

As the bail for each individual is well over a million dollars, we do not foresee any of the individuals being bailed out for the duration of this case and with possibility life sentences it's definetly better of that they don't.

PALMDALE DEPUTIES ARRESTED KIDNAPPING SUSPECTS, BY PALMDALE BAIL BONDSMAN

Here at All American Bail Bonds it has come to our attention that on Wednesday September 12, 2012 an alleged act of kidnapping and assault had occured in the an area of Agua Dulce. 

The following is the Narrative of the Alleged act as received by All American Bail Bonds from the Palmdale sheriff station.

On Wednesday, September 12, 2012 Palmdale Station deputies responded to the 30000 block of Briggs Road, Agua Dulce, after receiving a call of a kidnapping that had just occurred. When deputies arrived they contacted the 59 year-old female victim who told deputies the suspects tied her up, assaulted her and threatened to kill her with a handgun. After the suspects left, she was able to free herself and discovered her 23 year-old son was missing and believed he had been kidnapped. 

Deputies obtained the suspects’ vehicle description and relayed that information to assisting patrol deputies. A short time later, Santa Clarita Station deputies observed the suspects’ vehicle and conducted a felony traffic stop on the Northbound 5 freeway at McBean Parkway. Both suspects were found inside the vehicle along with a large amount of marijuana. The male victim was not found inside the vehicle. No weapon was recovered at the time of the traffic stop. 

Palmdale Station deputies conducted a ground search of the area near the incident location. The male victim was found by a Sheriff’s helicopter hiding in a ravine approximately ¼ mile from the incident location. He said he had been tied up and forced, by gun point, into the suspects’ vehicle. The suspects threatened to kill the victim. The victim was able to free himself, flee from the vehicle and hide in a ravine until he was found by Sheriff’s Deputies. Both victims sustained minor injuries. 

The suspects were transported and booked at the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station. They were both charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Kidnapping and Criminal Threats. The ongoing investigation will be handled by the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station Detective Bureau.

LASD Investigating Possible Kidnap of 10-13 Yr Old Boy - 8AM, Tues, 26th St. East / Ave S, Palmdale From Bail Bondsman In Palmdale

On Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at approximately 8AM, two children reported that a 10-13 year old Hispanic boy who appeared to be walking to school was possibly kidnapped at 26th Street East and Avenue S in the City of Palmdale. The witnesses described the victim as a male Hispanic 10-13 years of age, wearing a black shirt and black backpack. The witnesses said the victim was grabbed by two Hispanic men in their mid-30’s, who put the boy into a tan compact pickup truck and drove westbound on Avenue S. The tan compact pickup truck was described as having tinted windows, with two rear cargo doors, and a rear sliding window. The identity of the possible kidnap victim and the two men is not known. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s investigators have been working with area schools throughout the day and following other possible leads to see if a kidnapping did or did not actually occur. Deputies have gone door to door with Sheriff’s volunteers and Sheriff’s Antelope Valley Search & Rescue deputies canvassing the neighborhood for clues. They have checked with area schools and followed up on any students who did not attend school who matched the description. All were found to be okay. No missing children matching the description have been reported in the Palmdale area Tuesday morning.

Shooting Death of Woman Pushed Out of Car in Lynwood, Pursuit, Armed Suspect Surrenders to LASD Deputies From Bail Bondsman In Lynwood

Barricaded Suspect Surrendered to LASD Deputies After Pushing Female From His Moving Vehicle, Lynwood The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a woman is under investigation by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives. A suspect is in custody. Sheriff's Homicide investigators have learned that on Thursday, September 6, at 11:15 p.m. a deputy assigned to Century Sheriff's Station attempted to make a traffic stop of a car for vehicle code violations. The suspect's car, a green Mercury Cougar, pulled over to the curb near the 4100 block of Alma Avenue, Lynwood. The deputy heard a gunshot and saw a flash from inside the car before the suspect drove the car away at a high rate of speed. The deputy turned on his radio car's overhead red lights and siren and went into pursuit of the car. During the pursuit the suspect pushed a woman out of the car at the intersection of Josephine Street and Harris Avenue in Lynwood. Several sheriff's deputies continued the pursuit of the suspect while other deputies tended to the woman. The victim, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect got out of his car at the 14000 block of Chadron Avenue, Hawthorne and barricaded himself in an apartment. Century Sheriff's Station deputies, neighboring sheriff's station deputies, and Hawthorne police officers surrounded (contained) the area so that the suspect could not escape, and evacuated several nearby apartments for the safety of the residents. Special Weapons Team deputies from the Special Enforcement Bureau of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department soon arrived on the scene, as well as Crisis Negotiation Team members whose goal is a peaceful surrender of the suspect. At approximately 1:50 a.m. Friday morning, 30-year-old Suspect Juan Diego Valencia, of Los Angeles, walked out of the apartment and surrendered to Sheriff's Special Enforcement Bureau deputies. The suspect was booked at Century Regional Detention Facility for Murder and is being held in lieu of a million dollars bail. A firearm was recovered. Investigators believe the victim and suspect knew each other but the details of how they knew each other is not yet known.

Wrestling Coach WANTED For Sexual Assault of 14-yr old, Discovered by Mom on YouTube From Bail Bondsman In Rosemead

Sexual abuse allegations by a Rosemead wrestling coach involving a male 14-year old victim are under investigation by Special Victims Bureau detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The suspect in this case is WANTED for sexual assault of a minor. At the start of the incidents, the victim was allegedly befriended by the suspect who was an assistant wrestling coach for Rosemead High School from 2007 to 2009. Since 2010 to the present time, he has been employed as a wrestling instructor of the Bad News Panthers Children Wrestling Club in Rosemead. The suspect is Herbert Daniel Ortiz. He is also known as (AKA) Herbert Ortiz Monroy, a 29-year old Hispanic male, 5’8, 160 lbs. His last known residence was in Baldwin Park. The sexual abuse allegations were disclosed by the victim to his mother. Investigators were told of the alleged abuse by a victim's mother. She said she had been alerted to a “Youtube” video on the internet. In the video, another male alleged he was victimized by the suspect and was warning viewers, specifically those residing in Rosemead, California, to protect their children. The mother recognized the suspect as a former assistant wresting coach at Rosemead High School and asked her 14-year old son if he had been a victim. Her son then disclosed the sexual abuse by the suspect. The crimes occurred in the cities of Rosemead, El Monte and Baldwin Park. During follow-up investigation, detectives learned that the suspect had knowledge that the “Youtube” video had been posted to the internet. Sheriff's Special Victims Bureau detectives have been unable to locate the suspect and it is believed the suspect is intentionally eluding detectives due to the alleged offenses. Investigators believe there may be additional victims who may have been sexually abused by the suspect. THE SUSPECT IS WANTED. IF YOU SEE THE SUSPECT CALL 9-1-1.

Attempt Murder On A Peace Officer Suspects and light blue '96 Grand Voyager Getaway-Van Still At Large From Bail Bondsman In El Monte

Armed and Dangerous felony Suspect, Darnell Washington, escaped from county jail in San Bernardino County with the aid of his wife Tania on Aug. 28, 2012, and is now wanted for shooting a deputy sheriff in Los Angeles County on Sunday as well as multiple carjackings. After shooting an L.A. County Sheriff's deputy in South El Monte Sunday morning, Suspects Darnell Washington and Tania Washington committed multiple carjackings. The last vehicle they were seen in was carjacked in South Gate Sunday morning and is a: 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager Mini-Van light blue CA License #3PHK484 The 39-year old Temple Sheriff's Station deputy sustained non-life threatening injuries. He was treated at a local hospital and released the same day. The deputy is a 11-year veteran of the Sheriff’s Department, and has been assigned to Temple Station for the past 6 years. Suspect Darnell Washington is described as a male Black, 24-years old, 6’2,” 197 lbs. Suspect Tania Washington is described as a female Black, 25-years old, 5’3,” 130 lbs. The suspects were last seen in South Gate on Sunday, September 2, 2012, at approximately 9:00 A.M. Both suspects remain at large and are considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS. Cell Phone Thefts Up, 8 Tips on Cell Phone Theft Safety

Here at All American Bail Bonds it has come to our attention that the cell phones have increased throughout Los Angeles County as well as the Nation. Because cell phones contain so much personal information as well as passwords, thieves are targeting these mobile devices.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff and other police agency's have found several common factors with cell phone theft. This information was provided by the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department to help keep the public aware. 

Cell Phone Safety Tips:

1. Password Protect Phone:  Use the security lock code, or PIN feature, to lock your phone. Make it more difficult for others to access your personal information in your stolen phone.
2. Save Serial Number: Save your cell phone's serial number model and make, and keep it in a place where you can find it.  Your serial number proves its yours.
3. Don't Store Secrets: Consider carefully what information you store in your phone. If it's stolen, it's not that difficult for bad guys to pull out your private information before clearing the memory and reselling the device. If it would create too big of a disaster if your information fell into someone else's hands, don't store it. You may not guarantee your phone won't be stolen, but if the information isn't in the phone, the thief can't use it for Identity Theft.
4. Activate Tracking Device: Activate the Global Positioning System (GPS) tracking system on your phone or other electronic device. If the device does not have a GPS tracking system, there is after-market software you can buy.  Tracking devices often lead to your stolen device and lots of other stolen property.
5. Distracted Walking and Talking - Stay aware of your surroundings. Don't walk down the street talking on your phone or texting unaware of your environment or of people nearby. Thieves it when you do that, and while you talk, they grab.  Also, falling into a fountain or getting hit by a train is far worse than having your cell phone stolen. 
6. Hide and Go Eat - When eating in a restaurant (or relaxing in a public place), don't leave your phone on the table.  It's too easy for crooks to grab it and run.  Put it away and enjoy your meal.
7. Don't Delay: If your phone gets stolen, find another phone to use and call your local sheriff's or police station as soon as possible. Call now, don't wait until you arrive at your next destination.
8. Be a Good Witness:  If you see the suspect, don't try to get it back from the suspect. Use caution but try to get a good description of the suspect and vehicle (license number, color, and model) and the last known direction of travel. Write it down if you can and call the cops so we can get it back for you.  That's why we're here.

Attorney robbed by Downey man, Items recovered, in Lancaster. From Bail Bondsman in Lancaster

An attorney became the victim of robbery this weekend, while walking in the 43600 block of Sierra Vista Drive, Lancaster. At a quarter before 7:00 PM on Saturday, August 25, 2012, as the unsuspecting victim talked on his iPhone, he saw a man sitting in a truck parked on the same side of the street waive him over. The victim walked over to the suspect’s truck, a burgundy Chevrolet Silverado with paper plates, to see what he wanted. When the victim approached the truck, the suspect brandished a black pistol, and demanded the victim’s iPhone and wallet. Fearing for his safety, the victim relinquished his iPhone and wallet to the suspect. The suspect fled the location in the truck with the stolen items. The victim attempted to follow the suspect without success. Lancaster Sheriff’s Station Deputies Doty and Whalen heard the robbery in progress call broadcast over their Sheriff’s radio and began searching for the suspect. The deputies found the suspect lying underneath his vehicle, parked in the residential neighborhood of the 3800 block of West Avenue K-14. The deputies detained the suspect and subsequently recovered the victim’s stolen property. In addition to the victim’s recovered property, deputies located property stolen during the commission of a robbery the week prior in Palmdale. A black b.b. gun concealed in the dashboard of the suspect’s vehicle was also recovered. The suspect was identified as Jorge Quinones, a 24 year old male resident of Downey. He was arrested for Robbery, booked at Lancaster Sheriff’s Station, and is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
