
Jacob Brill remains jailed this morning at the L.A. County sheriff’s Industry station, and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail, said Lt. Arthur Scott. Brill was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism.
Police received a call late Thursday that a man was using an ax to try to chop down a mature tree in Thomas S. Burton Park, according to published reports. They found Brill in a vehicle leaving the area, along with the ax. He was reportedly booked on a felony charge because the tree was worth more than $400.
Brill is still being held at the Industry Station on $50,000 Bail, He will be in the Citrus Court House in West Covina on this coming week.
