A report of a child kidnapping at the 2500 block of Graydon Ave. in Monrovia is being investigated by Temple Sheriff's Station deputies.
The child was able to break free from the kidnapper during the 4:10PM, Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 incident.
The 6-year old male White victim boy explained that he was in his backyard when the suspect appeared and picked him up in his arms.
The suspect ran with the victim to a nearby apartment complex while covering the victim’s mouth with his hand. When the victim bit the suspect, the suspect dropped the victim and ran from the scene. The victim ran home where he was reunited with his mother.

UPDATE TO STORY FROM THE KTLA NEWS. A MAN(NAME NEVER RELEASED) WAS ARRESTED FOR THE KIDNAPPING. BUT WAS THEN RELEASED AS CHILD TURNED OUT TO BE LYING. CASE IS STILL ONGOING.
