Bail Bonds in Long Beach Q. & A.

Q. If my loved one is incarcerated for D.U.I will he/she be released with an O.R. (Own Recognizance)?

A. If the inmate has no additional warrants and the D.U.I. arrest was for just D.U.I. without accident or injury than yes he/she will be release with O.R.

Please note:
For D.U.I. the inmate will be released with O.R., but the process will take several hours longer.
A Bail Bond may be an option for those individuals looking for a quicker release.

Q. If I have the whole dollar amount for the Bail Bond, can I just put that up?

A. Yes, If you have the full dollar amount you can do what's called a cash bond, and you will get the entire dollar amount back from the court system in approximately 8 to 12 weeks once the case is concluded.

Please Note: If for any reason the defendant fails to appear, the Bail will be forfeited with no return bail put up.

Q. What if I am unable to come to the local office or to the jail for the paperwork, what are the options.

Q. What will happen if the inmate is in this country illegally or awaiting processing of legal residency?

A. In our experience, the Long Beach Correctional Facility does not place immigration holds on inmate that are in the U.S. illegally.
