Community Message: Long Beach Police Department reminds parents that curfew laws will be enforced during Spring Break 2011

Here at All American Bail Bonds we strive to keep the public informed, the following in formation is provided by the Long Beach Police Department as reminder to parents regarding local curfew hours.

Please view for further information.

Friday April 22, 2011 2:00 PM PDT
Long Beach Police Department reminds parents that curfew laws will be enforced during Spring Break 2011
The 2011 Spring Break for Long Beach students is fast approaching and schools will be closed during the week of April 25th - 29th, with students returning to class on Monday, May 2nd.

The Long Beach Police Department would like to remind parents that Section 9.58.010 of the Long Beach Municipal Code states: "It is unlawful for any minor under the age of eighteen (18) years to remain in or upon any 'public place' as defined in Section 9.02.090, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. the following day."

The Long Beach Police Department takes curfew violations seriously. Our experience has shown us that children/youth who are on the street after curfew are more likely to become victims of violent crime, and also are more likely to become involved in criminal behavior.

Parents should know the whereabouts of their children at all times and ensure they get home safely before curfew. The Long Beach Police Department will strictly enforce the curfew statutes through the spring break week, and staffing has been adjusted to accommodate enforcement action.

Additionally, in January 2011, the Long Beach City Prosecutor's Office announced its Parent Accountability and Chronic Truancy (PACT) Program, a collaborative effort with the L.B.P.D and the Long Beach Unified School District. Under this new program, parents and legal guardians can be criminally prosecuted for "contributing to the delinquency of a minor" if they fail to supervise their children, and the children disobey the law or any lawful order of the juvenile court. Parents can also be prosecuted if their children fail to regularly attend school and are deemed "chronic truants." The City Prosecutor will be strictly enforcing his new PACT program during next week's Spring Break.

These laws are in place to protect children/youth, and the Long Beach Police Department and the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office will enforce and prosecute these laws with your child’s safety in mind. By working together, we can help provide your family a safe and enjoyable Spring Break

The following information is provided to those in need of bail information for individuals being held within the Long Beach Police Department Jail.

1. The booking process in Long Beach Jail will take, on a norm, around eight to twelve hours. Once arrested you can expect to go through a lengthy and thourough booking process.

2. Long Beach normally requires a bail bond on all charges stemming from an arrest within the city, we see many bail amounts from as little as $150 dollars on up. On smaller Bonds a cash bond may be a better option. Cash Bonds are explained in the Long Beach Bail Bonds Q & A.

3. D.U.I offenders will be released with an O.R. (Own Recognizance) but it normally takes an additional several hours. The inmates can bail out once cleared for bail.

RMS, REVENUE MANAGEMENT SERVICE IN IRVINE, COLLECTION COMPANY OR FRAUD?

4/13/11
IT HAS COME TO OUR ATTENTION THAT SOMEONE HAS GONE THROUGH GREAT LENGTHS IN SCRUBBING THE WEB OF THE TRUTH, IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCES WITH THIS COMPANY PLEASE MAKE THEM KNOWN!

UPDATE 5-12-10

BELOW IS THE COMPANY'S RESPONSE TO MY COMPLAINT TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. MANY PEOPLE HAVE CALLED ME REGARDING MY NEGATIVE REVIEW AND THIS BLATANT LIE OF A REBUTTAL SAYS IT ALL, PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT I HAVE EVIDENCE THAT THIS COMPANY HAS COLLECTED OVER $2,000 ON ONE ACCOUNT.

PLEASE REVIEW THEIR COMMENTS..

Company's Initial Response - Posted 05/11/2010

Jeff Chavez is grossly mistaken. The court hearing he is referring to was in a small claims court where an attorney is not allowed to attend. He was contact and was told we wouldnt be there and appropriate data would be sent in our place considering we couldnt attend a small claims matter. He was advised he could attend but was his choice. Jeff Chavez has grossly misread the case minutes and is completely mistaken on the course of events. There has been ZERO money dispersed from the bank levy and RMS is in receipt of NO monies from this case. Had he read the file or called he would have been advised accordingly.

Initial Response Summary

Jeff Chavez was advise to quit barating our staff and advised of the details of his case. He was instructed to contact Legal Affairs directly should he have any questions.
